I've adored this book thus far, even though I'm not usually as into the more realistic magical realism/contemporary stories. It's very engaging and hooks you easily, I find. Unfortunately I just got to a part that triggered my specific medical phobia/squicks, and I'm not sure if I can finish reading it (maybe later on?). I'll probably take a break from it then come back, because I'm very invested in the story!

This is the fastest I've gone back to reread a book in years, lmao. Now that I have the characters and names of places straight in my head hopefully I'll follow better (sometimes i dont pay 100% attention to audiobooks for periods, woops lol)

FINALLY got my hold from the library, omg everyone and their mom was ahead of me in line for this audiobook

I'm mostly through this but idk, its starting to lose my interest :c

I'm listening to the audiobook - the funky electro music in between tapes/discs was jarring the first time I listened, but now it's a familiar funky friend
