You know how you start reading a book and within moments you go, "Yes! This is what I've been waiting for!"? I am now officially in love with Richard Rider. Sigh.

Hooooray! A good book to start off the new year in style :)

I'm enjoying this book but the sex is doing my head in. Two young Amish virgins, living such a sheltered life are quite happy to dive straight into blow jobs (complete with gagging, drooling, cum swallowing, kissing each other after) and then wham...anal. Really? I don't buy it, and personally I would find it a million times hotter if it was a lot more fumbling and awkward but hey I'm weird like that :-)

Funny how those people who believe there is an absolute 'truth' out there also happen to believe that their 'truth' is the correct one.

This feels to me like a very light read, considering the subject matter. I'm really enjoying it, but in a very shallow kind of way.

I'm going to make a new bookshelf called 'angst-lite'.

Also really enjoying the 'British' accent being used to say distinctly non-British words and phrases which makes the whole thing sound weird and rather Dick Van Dyke-ish. Yeah, it's fun.

Ugh, I don't know why I bothered tidying my bookshelves. I managed to get my tbr list down to under 200, and then within a couple of days I've added a whole load of new books. Authors - stop writing such tempting stuff!

Just found out that my son will be reading Of Mice and Men for his GCSE English, exactly the same book I read for my GCSE English! I may have to have a re-read now :)

On a side note, is there anyone else that's noticed John Steinbeck looks kinda hot on the Kindle home page? I think it's the tash that does it.

Soooo happy to be back in my comfort zone. This book is gorgeous, my finger is already hovering over the 6* button. Now if l don't make eye contact with any of my family l might get away with finishing it today :-)
