I’m finding it really interesting. It attracted me because I thought it would be a really good discussion about maps, mapping and geography - but so far it is about how the world religions see the points of the compass. And I’m finding that just as interesting.

I’m really not enjoying this book. I don’t know if it is the book or me, but it seems to jump around so much, earns I find it tricky to tell what the actual story is.

Which is a shame, be enjoyed other JLC books, but this one just isn’t doing it for me.

I shall press on though and see if it all ties together at the end

But it’s only 1 or 2 star book at the moment.

Really loving the description of the forests. Guy has a wonderful affinity with the woodland and a huge wealth of knowledge. His passion to help protect the forests for the future only enhances to story. Looking forward to reading the rest.

The Tao of Pooh done and dusted… great read and some thought provoking chapters. Hoping for the same from the Te of Piglet.
