It’s a bit cheesy in part. I can’t help but wonder if this shouldn’t be dual pov.

Love a slow burn and a true enemy who, it turns out, has the same insecurities as you.

Urgh the mother and sister shit me

A romp

Violet and Phoebe kinda annoying. I get their grief but their hounding of Dex was awful. I get Dex is doing it because he wants to and is a secret softie, but the sisters are being a bit much, including Arden who then changed her tune.

Slogging through it in part I think I’m in a reading slump so I find this too long. I’m not quite connecting the characters even though I liked them in previous book. I see where this is going though but it’s not grabbing me like Ava and Finn

Is it just me or is Kelly a bit naive trusting Evan automatically & not paying attention to the fact someone is squatting there (Evan?)

Max is too flirty

The narrator is perfect as Kelly. Am trying to keep up with the moving parts which is a bit harder as an audiobook. Well-paced. Loved discussion about why Kelly works only for women. No justice for women.

I'm enjoying Kelly the PI.

Really enjoying the banter

Great banter

Oh Lora you are so going to learn you’re not an island.

Urgh it’s clear Clara doesn’t want kids so why is she going ahead with this?

Engrossing. Emmy dealing with death of an ex cop who was dealing with DV.

Starting to get boring and a bit paint by numbers, you can predict all the plot beats

Well written but th overwhelming sense of dread waiting for it to fall apart keeps me from sitting and reading this in one hit. Fantastic concept -told via passers by or acquaintances.

Hilarious AF. Have cackled so many times. No I and Julian are 🔥
