Starting to get boring and a bit paint by numbers, you can predict all the plot beats

Well written but th overwhelming sense of dread waiting for it to fall apart keeps me from sitting and reading this in one hit. Fantastic concept -told via passers by or acquaintances.

This is overwritten, everything is explained heavily. Fine for fan fic but cripes a novel? They e hooked up and are a couple so fast I don’t get it. The Diego dialogue was also so heavy handed.

A lot better than the second book, but for once can we have an experienced jaded female with jaded male? Why again another virgin? What’s the point of this secret society if they’re newly recruited?

The last half so much better than the first.

I normally don't like audiobook only books because its too stressful but this is perfect for me.

Fabulous narrator, there's a warmth to her voice but it also conveys the tone of the book. The story is also gripping.

Starting to pick up more. The religious times are a bit ick though. I also don’t understand why this uses a real life persons name,.

Loving it. Nella is funny and reflective. LOVE Yan her brother and their relationship. Also the layered way she presents even the more boisterous members of Nella's family. I love the way Greek culture is woven in (have been stopping to search what a few of the terms are).

Why is it that I’d love to read a prequel with Hannah’s parents? Her mum sneaking out of her bedchamber to meet the dashing former pirate turned coffee shop proprietor?

I wish she cut the Sabera chapters entirely. It’s stronger with Frankie uncover everything in ‘real time’. Also for an audiobook Hilary Hunter’s middle Afghani accent is atrocious. I get it adds to the budget but it’s seriously offensive. Hire an actor who has an Afghani background.

I get that Frankie is a loner who moves around, but I think this book is so much stronger as an ensemble with Jenny, Daryl & Bart

A bit slow going

A bit slow in pace. Their risky behaviour does stress me out,

Loving the banter and flirty chemistry. Ben, Martin and John are divine.

Unsure if I like MFC since she’s very individualistic. I’m also disappointed to learn Mary Anning was a real person. Why involve a RL person in a fictional book that’s fantasy in it?

Loving it. But geez Liam stand up to Granny and Gramps for Roslyn FFS. And Roslyn you can tell your grandparents off too.
