Excellent chapter. A very necessary lesson and revelation that we minimize our wounds and resort to blaming ourselves and building walls of protection and fear. We must face our fears and our wounds and find healing with our Lord Jesus Christ.

The father wound is so painful and so deep. Men long for validation and love and to be respected. But it seems society doesn’t want or need us.

Deep wounds from both parents and other people in our lives during the foundational years of our childhood can have serious and longstanding consequences. As a father now, I have a lot to ponder on my role and how my words or actions can impact my kids.

A very real and raw and hard pill to swallow on the shortfalls and fears that we as humans are facing everyday.

A great reminder of the importance of men and women. Also, how courageous and powerful Jesus Christ and many others were throughout the Bible.
