Second weekend of work in a row... can I sneak some book time in?

This audiobook is really good, but I'm just not in the mood for an audiobook right now. I have returned it to the many months long queue at the library and will try again later in dead tree format.

After many months, I have finally received the audiobook loan from the library. :)

This more low stakes black car and golden retriever story is much more what I’m in the mood for today.

Well, here’s a moment I wish I was reading hard copy and not audio- Dani is about to blow everything up spectacularly and I cannot skim ahead easily to see how bad it is. Currently not emotionally prepared for this relatively late in the game blowup so pivoting to something else for the moment.

Thought about listening to this at work this morning, got to the steamiest scene by far thus far and nope, this will have to wait until my commute home.

This one is reading slowly for me, but I'm intrigued.

This one is back on the front burner because I want to use it for Cannonball Bingo, and I'm manning the front desk at work and will have time to sneak it in, I hope.

I think I could have skipped the Introduction chapter without missing anything, its all pretty much covered in the next couple chapters. It does however make the beginning of this feel a little slow, which is wild because it is literally jam-packed with pre-production details so far.
