This book finally got interesting around 150 pages in

There are some interesting bits of info so far, but I already know I'm bumping the final rating down a star for the terrible opinions on Bathsheba.

I put this on hiatus awhile ago, but I think I'm ready to get back into reading this again.

I first read this several years ago when I was in high school, I think. I loved it then, but I'm curious to see if it'll still hold up for me, especially since I barely remember what even happened in it. So far though...I'm not very impressed lol

Was hoping this would be a fun read since I love Beauty and the Beast, but so far I'm just bored

Oh no, not a new POV of the love interest added in the third book *flashbacks to Allegiant*

I am determined to finish this book by this point, but it's such a struggle because I just...don't really care that much about any of these characters anymore. Ugh.

This isn't a kind of book that I typically read, but I'm actually sort of enjoying this so far.

Finally it seems like something interesting is happening

As much as I complain about Victor Hugo's writing at times, that last section with Javert was so brilliantly written.
