I have been excited for everything this woman does for the last 9-10 years. She was mesmerizing the first time I saw her, singing the title song for the colour purple. Everything she's done is always captivating. I waited to get an audible version of the book, to hear it in her voice. I've already had goosebumps, and tears.

Reading again because I don't remember it

My kids are making fun of me for crying so much while reading.

Oh my goodness.. this book is going to be a favourite. Something special in the way it's written.
