Hmmm...the writing is really really weird. I’m reading on for a bit, but not sure about the hype for this. At all.

This seems so out of control, and weird, I can’t read any further 🥴

DNF at 30%. Too shallow, too superficial. I just can’t connect. Maybe the LIX🤷🏼‍♀️Too bad, RH normally writes beautifully...

The drama is lurking😬🙄I’m out🏃🏼‍♀️too much gangsta coming up, and the writing is, well, not my cuppa 🥴😑

I’m out. I couldn’t connect, and was truly bored 😑

The story between Grant and Morgan is intriguing and starting to build in a heartfelt way❤️

Buuuuut 😬🥴🙄the gangster drama lurking around Jeff, and Grants former life, not so much🙄🙄but I knew that when I started reading, I’m just hoping it won’t overshadow 😬🥴

Well, I can’t read any further, I have tried so hard to get into this book and these characters, but it just didn’t happen😢🤥This is the first Lily Morton book I DNF and that makes me a bit sad, as I have loved her other works 😩

Only 4% in - that prologue though😳😬😳😬😳

It has been a long time since I was this intrigued by, and sucked into, a story, a book 😍Wow - now I’m onto Calebs POV🥰

I’m not finishing this book - I struggled so hard to like it, but I just feel like treading water, so.....

This time I will try to open my mind - and go with the English man flow....

This just isn’t for me right now - way to unrealistic, and the the rich cliche rich guy seems a tad to creepy.....I might read it later, but then again, not really I think🤦🏼‍♀️
