I feel this is one of those books that could almost be a Hallmark movie and I love it. Very lighthearted but it has this small tension and it’s easy to go to during my days. I like the contrasting characters right now.

I think this book might just break me a lil. I’ve been recognizing lately my desire to protect and I just wanna protect Charlie. He reminds me of some clients. Great story so far

Wow this is so easy to get through I’m so happy because book club is on Wednesday lol. Kinda crazy how quick a book from 2016 to 2026 that has social commentary and race relations discussed can change. Some stuff just is not relevant

Phoebe narrates the book and adds a lot of flair. It’s like a constant podcast which is kinda fun.

This has been a very good romance novel. A lil stereotyped but the different elements really bring it together. Is it a must read? I’m unsure but I like it

Unpopular opinion but I’m not sure I’m loving this. I had somewhat high expectations and it’s good but it’s very character led, the plot is coming of age and I’m not sure I see big things coming together on this for me where it’s like I HAD to read it. We’ll see

I was really invested in the beginning and it’s kinda falling. Very character led and lots of supportive characters giving life advice right now it seems which is fine but it also feels at a standstill. The audiobook narrators are fabulous tho

Oh now I see why people cry right away reading this. Gut punch after gut punch but it’s good.
Also we hate a liar. But whatever we love a romance novel.

This is an extremely fun book so far. Lots of crazy plots that are slightly far fetched but not too much so it’s a good balance. Author has a humorous writing style and good one liners without them being forced. I’m so glad to read this, fun summer read especially to take my mind off my job!

The drama. I love it. Being young is so messy ; I’m so glad it’s not my life anymore and miss it all at the same time.

This book switches POV a lot and I don’t realize it. It’s not good. Only finishing cause it’s short. There’s like some ideas it sits on but it’s just too flimsy.

1. I’m glad I’m reading this on audiobook due to the importance of language and naming things in the various languages and hearing it properly pronounced.
2. I’m very lost on what this is about a quarter in besides architecture. It’s very much stream of consciousness often.
3. It’s a short audiobook so I’ll deal with it

What a tale so far

Lots of characters. Character list very necessary. Enjoying the writing style, perfect mix of classical writing without being too elaborate and hard to comprehend but beautiful and artistic. The plot is intriguing I love multigenerational novels.

Reading the E-book. So far I’m enjoying a 50 year old woman discussing aging, refreshing

This is such a good buddy read with Yesteryear

I like Emma Straubs writing style and the plot on this is perfect. Character is well formed and themes align well for the story development. I’m excited to see where this one goes.
