This book is slow going, with very long chapters and Proustian sentences that seem to, with their many commas and asides, to be almost as long. The jumble of names in the asides, is confusing and like Proust’s OSOLT nothing much happens, other than talking about what everyone else is doing!
So far however, although not relaxing or easy to read, I quite enjoy it.
