This has been on my goodreads TBR since March 1st 2018 yikes

Can’t wait to get through the awkward phase

This book felt like such an intimidating length at the beginning and now with everything that’s happened it almost feels too short

Strong sense of foreboding

They cannot catch a break

I haven’t read a book over 1000 pages in years

Reading a book people told you was sad means bracing yourself at every turn

The thrill of reading a fast-paced book after a slew of slower starting ones

I read the sequel 3 years ago and it shows idk who these people are

Sincerely hope not DNFing this pays off because I’ve had a miserable time so far

I went from feeling lukewarm toward the characters to being hopelessly devoted to them and now my fool heart’s in my throat

I have a feeling that when this book gets going it’ll be good, but I’m bored and the arguments are becoming repetitive just go

I should never read blurbs, i spend too much time waiting anxiously for the scenario outlined to happen CAN THEY JUST BE IN THE WOOD ALREADY

Take 3 of trying to read this

Made it further in than last time but this romance subplot is more annoying than I remember

This has been one of my most anticipated reads but I don’t like the writing style:(

I didn’t realise I was reading back-to-back Rachel Giligan’s but this is going way quicker, it feels like a movie
