So good! Everything I loved about book one with even more to love. Such well written characters!

Making myself reread this one slowly. I tore through it the first time, so now I’m going to sit in the world and with the characters for a time. It’s a breath of fresh air every time I open the book 😊

I loved the last two books by the esteemed Raymond St. Elmo so much, that I’m almost nervous to read on lest the magic dispel. (But so far so good)

4 chapters in to the second book and I’m loving these characters!

I’m already enchanted and invested.

Finished the first book in this and it was excellent! I enjoyed it more than Witch King. Loved the world building and characters.

It’s been so long I’m pretty sure I’m already getting to the part I don’t remember very well 😂

Really into this story. And for some reason this is feeling a bit Curse of Chalion? Maybe it’s just me.

I think I need to start reading series closer together because that took me a minute to remember what was going on…

I mean, how can you not love a book that includes ghost dogs.

Some books, though I loved them the first time, are a struggle for me to reread. Not this one. This one I can slip back into with ease. Like putting on a cozy, oversized sweater you’d lost at the back of your closet: comfortable, enveloping, and a little bit like coming home.
