6 hours deep into this audiobook and it feels like almost nothing has happened

All I can think is babe, you need SOME standards. Your bar for men is on the floor.

I’m getting in my single, annual, non-fiction read. Glad I picked this one because I’m only one chapter deep and already feeling motivated to make small changes.

What do we think it means when someone gives a “small smile the size of Jupiter?”
Why do I keep seeing these books on booktok?

How is this book so long??? I feel like almost nothing has happened even though I’m 10 hours deep into this audiobook

Didn’t think any of the books in this series would make me tear up, but apparently I was wrong.

Catching up on so many ARCs that have been sitting on my kindle.
Shoutout to 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The Marigold Cottages Murder Collective for breaking me out of my 3 ⭐️ slump. It was, in a word, delightful.

I’m more than halfway through this SIXTEEN hour audiobook and the mfc is still calling the mmc “Mr. Rhodes,” but not in a hot way. This slow burn is very, very slow.

Well, I started this like I started the last book in this series, without any memory of what happened in the rest of the series and unsure why the characters are all so awful, not that reading further clears the latter up. I went through the entirety of the second book confused about what was happening. Now that i see the rating, I’m wondering if I should cut my losses and DNF.

She’s got a formula and I guess it works for me 🤷🏻‍♀️
