Celaena is growing on me

The premise is good but I HATE Celaena. So far she’s very much the stereotypical “badass” fmc is mostly just rude and obnoxious rather than what I think the author was intending to be tough.

9 pages in and I cannot believe the amount of exclamation points there are in this book lol

luckily I’m almost done with it, bc good grief. This book is awful. Probably my worst read of the year so far.

immediately this is the most chronically online book I’ve ever read lol. ACOTAR references?? no thanks. Also the 2010’s memes?? Prison Mike? Jake from State Farm? I have such an intense ick from this book already but I’m gonna keep pushing for now.
