Finished Red Mountain Rising. A lot of life happened to me since the last book (I lost my wife to cancer). It was nice to return to these characters. Like seeing old friends. I laughed and I cried. I look forward to returning to Red Mountain again soon!

I just finished Royal Assassin and need to take a break before finishing this. I am enjoying the series, but it is definitely more of a slow burn kind of read. Sometimes Fitz is just self pitying to the point of being annoying. But... it's a very human character flaw as well. (Regal better get what's coming to him!)
