That one had me teared up right to the last page. Have to take a break and let that all settle in before I return for the next book.

I am currently finishing the first book in this set, Red Mountain, and I am surprised and delighted at how much I am enjoying this book! It feels like just what I was looking for when I needed it. There's been laughter, smiles, tears and heartache - but is a totally human, feel good read. I already look forward to returning to Red Mountain soon. (I am happy there are three more books waiting for me!)

Wow. This stuff still just creatively blows my mind. Talk about a brilliant reboot of a character. I remember being just as impressed with these back when I originally read them as monthly comics.

These books are so fun! Just finished my re-read of The Sea of Monsters.
