Recent topics: death, immortality, AI developing consciousness and afterwards developing moral code, ecosystems both natural and human made. It's giving Scythe a bit with those topics.

Mood so far: that viral song from tiktok that's in all of those fantasy videos, Lord of a the Rings (never finished the books but the parts I read the traveling on this book feels like this), and Wild Robot. Googled the author to find out more about what she has written and discovered that she writes in a genre called "hopepunk" which is new to me!
