A Halloween themed read, and it's pretty good so far.

There is a lot of suspension of disbelief involved - some of the details about the existence of the school and its seemingly only purpose in killing its pupils are kept fuzzy because looking too closely would make this all fall down.

That being said, the story is well-paced and fun.

After dropping this for a few months (the slow pace was getting to me) I picked this up again.

I have to stop here for now.

This was an excellent start, but some of the elements of the story are too similar to something I want to write. So I need to sketch an outline of my own story somewhere before I pick this up again just to make sure I am not influenced too much.
