In chapter 3, Anderson provides helpful differentiation between trauma and abuse, shows how the two concepts interact, and provides a lot of categories and examples of religious abuse that I found very helpful. For those wondering, she is not anti-religious nor does she think people should always become anti-religious in response to spiritual abuse.
