I'm finding this rather frustrating. The author provides pie charts apparently illustrating the macronutrient distribution in a modern vs. "ancestral" diet, but does not give attribution for that ancestral diet (when? where? does he think human ancestors had identical fat/carb/protein intake regardless of their location on the globe?). Also, the book is filled with anecdotes rather than studies.
