Funny, but for me I really enjoyed the nature parts of the book, but as soon as it turned romantic I was out. Also, I thought Hilly was much older so my brain couldn’t wrap around it. Mystery was meh.

I loved the premise of this book- one child three scenarios with three different names a birth. Each story line has so much to teach the reader.

This book surprised me. Better than I thought it would be. Don’t judge a book by its cover.

I enjoyed this book and learning about the deaf community, but I’m not really a football fan so reading about the play by play of each game was often repetitive. It was needed for the story to see growth, but that part was not as interesting to me.

This book was an interesting look at the disorder of sociopathy. I’m interested to know if Patric is currently working in the field.

A good reminder to declutter and reorganize spaces on a more regular basis. A bit repetitive but humorous too.

This book played out very differently than expected for me. I appreciated the character of Sammy and the artistic endeavors of Patch.

I didn’t like this book at first but parts of it grew on me. Still thinking about the last 1/3 and whether it was worth the read.

This book reminded me of The Measure and I liked how all of the people fit together at the end. Good overall. 3.5. Maybe rounding up to 4.

I had trouble getting into this book because I was listening and didn’t understand the format. Partway in I reread the description and it made much more sense and came together.

I listened to this one the first time and Biggi gave it to me for my birthday so I read it. Enjoyed it just as much the second time.

Keep thinking about how to rate this book. It wasn’t bad but didn’t always flow. 3.5?

Based on true facts about the saving of 108 French Jewish children during WWII. Sad but good read.

I enjoyed the premise of this story and learning more about slave history during the civil war, but it was a bit biblical for me at times. Overall enjoyable but something kept me from a 5. Some of the characters weren’t developed enough maybe?

Not a bad follow up to the first book, but also fairly predictable. This story continues with Sloan and her new love interest Jason, who goes by Jackson and is a rockstar. There were some sweet moments, but nothing over the top to make me give it a four or five.

Why do I keep reading Frieda McFadden books? I don’t love them but I don’t hate them either. Sometimes the characters are just so stupid and it bugs me. 🤷‍♀️ I thought this was the end of this series but just learned there are 2 more. Are they written by AI? So predictable.

Some good twists in this book. I haven’t read many of Freida’s books, but she seems to follow a certain formula. I guess I’ll try the next.

Whoa! This book is eye opening to how quickly a brain infection can permanently change a person. Very fascinating!

Finished this book last week and am glad I went back to the series even while dragging my feet. It was easy to be sucked back into the games. Enjoyable
