Wow! I loved so many aspects of this book. I was enamored with all of the communication Sybil could keep up with. It was a full time job. She wrote to keep her mind busy and avoid grief. The letter at the end that Theodore shared with Fiona, meant for Dan did leave me less than satisfied, but everything up to then was so good. I especially like Bisam.

At first I wasn’t sure about this book, but it grew on me. Much of it didn’t matter that it took place on Mars, especially after Darrow got out of the Reds. Not bad but not sure I will continue the series.

Not a bad book but also not a memorable book. Playing on the octopus word in the title because of Remarkable Bright creature to pull in readers but really has nothing to do with Octopi. 🐙 Really more of a twist in family secrets. Ok, but not one I would highly recommend. 2.5 ⭐️

This book…it was a great on to start the new year. 😭 Moving, heartbreaking, thought provoking, and beautiful. A man bears the end of his life surrounded by the love of his dog. 🐕 It was a hard read but one to remember.

This was good one with quite a few twists. I may have enjoyed it even more if it wasn’t broken up into 2 different borrows for me. lol! Finished before midnight to get it on my 2025 read list!

Such bravery and determination was shown by these 9 French resistance women working together to get away from Ravensbrook concentration camp and back to France. The story was based upon the author’s great aunt.

I love a good dystopian book and this one for YA caught my attention from the beginning. It was a solid 4 for me.

Funny, but for me I really enjoyed the nature parts of the book, but as soon as it turned romantic I was out. Also, I thought Hilly was much older so my brain couldn’t wrap around it. Mystery was meh.

I loved the premise of this book- one child three scenarios with three different names a birth. Each story line has so much to teach the reader.

I enjoyed this book and learning about the deaf community, but I’m not really a football fan so reading about the play by play of each game was often repetitive. It was needed for the story to see growth, but that part was not as interesting to me.

This book was an interesting look at the disorder of sociopathy. I’m interested to know if Patric is currently working in the field.

A good reminder to declutter and reorganize spaces on a more regular basis. A bit repetitive but humorous too.
