So this is an urban fantasy about bird people (yes, bird people!) and while the writing is good, I simply cannot get into the story at all. Bird people. Too weird for me, I think. I'm going to put it aside for a while and maybe revisit in the future.

I'm giving up at this point. Not that this is a bad read - it's not - it's just very banal. I wanted "House, M.D." type medical jargon and exciting, mysterious medical cases - this is not that!
