hysteria used unironically trong sách xuất bản năm 2018, khá niche

okay writer i was unfamiliar with your game

apparently my boss also likes this book so now idk what to think — anyway almost cried at a cafe during my lunch break reading this sex scene

actually i’m not a fan of the series of men pushing 40 and not knowing wtf they’re doing with younger much more vulnerable women. it’s nice that they have humility but please have a bit more situational awareness

it’s the same sexual dynamics

lots of elliptical sentences and parataxis

“to be loyal she meant to that remembered woman, her happiness, beauty, promise of a future. Forever warm and still to be enjoyed.
Forsake therefore the injured and angry person she has become.”

good old emotional labour

but please don’t write again to tell me how you have woken up weeping. I already know how you are in love with your weeping.

that’s a disgusting kind of obsessive insecurity

what a sentimental guy i hope he wasn’t the reason she checked out of the relationship

“you survive your own death, and then there’s nothing left to do except talk about it”

as though he has the power and pleasure of reliving events with their sting removed

“As for me, I’m the the writer, the foreigner, the whore — the free woman too. I’m not the “good woman”, whom one possesses and displays, the one who gives consolation. I can’t console anyone.”

i get it with the banks but how do we just marry sociopaths without knowing it

nice i’m already enraged

girl i just can’t

trains and matrons, pensions and banana companies

”In a town that has chafed under the tricks of the gypsies there was no future for those ambulatory acrobats of commerce who with equal effrontery offered a whistling kettle and a daily regime that would assure the salvation of the soul on the seventh day”

i’m back and i’m determined 🤩

another day another exploration of proving your worth to a mediocre man

okay not bad but the middle chapter’s complex is infuriating
self hatred doesn’t make for good writing

i already hate this mf
