Loved this book. Descriptive, inventive, witty, eye opening, reflective. Gainza described the painting so well, you could actually see them clearly in your mind. I looked each painter up on wikipedia but it really wasn't necessary. Enjoyed visiting Buenos Aires and Paris w/ her writing. All this rolled into snippets from her life, I imagine because It is a work of fiction.
