wow this is the fastest ive read any non fiction i think ...

wow this is very insightful and strikes directly into my preference for anything but long term care because 1) the pay is abysmal 2) understaffing is a real issue and 3) i dont know how to "fix" their issues BUT maybe thats not the goal!!
also dietitian mentioned

ava has graciously given me a personalized reading list a while back and im just now making my way through it

ohhhh that one chapter really explained A LOT

spent so much time feeling guilty that i havent read enough (because i don't commute via ttc anymore) that i forgot i could just ... start reading

personally i dont think i would survive a season y'all

i love how after ive finished book 1&2 of the trilogy and thought that ive had a good grasp on the system (how DARE i), then they throw in a whole different deadciv and their own lingo that i have to learn too 😭😭

if u saw me tearing up on the ttc, no u didnt

i have an inkling that this book will be sad ... but good sad, hopefully

nooo alabaster :(

this is the second book that praises writing important things in stone so it can't be altered ... maybe the egyptians got it right with their hieroglyphics

good to know celiacs disease still exist in this apocalyptic world

✨magic✨

decided to just finish the trilogy now instead of dragging it out (looking at you, cosmere)

ah of course the question shouldve have been "how do these characters/storylines connect to each other" but "are these characters the same person" 😔 my bad

wait why did i think this was a standalone 😭 i was like hmm with 30% left theres no way they can wrap all this up

hmm i dont get how these characters connect to one another just yet

is syenite pronounced like cyanide because i am

genuinely what is going on and what does everything mean

i hate to say karma's a bitch but ...

i genuinely feel for giovanni

holy internalized homophobia

is this book just a stream of consciousness?

zendaya said this is one of her favourite books, so of course i have to read it

maro was ELEVEN??? this whole time i thought he was at least in his teens but he's barely out of elementary school? oh boy

just realized "your highness, may you live a thousand years" is the translation for "hoàng thượng vạn tuế" LMAOO my years of watching imperial soap dramas have taught me well

*enemies to lovers omg

this has better not be an enemy to lover

i was yearning for a cổ trang fic (a chinese novel about imperial times, concubines, heirs, dynasties, etc.) bc i used to devour them in middle school and this delivers

this reads so much like a dystopian novel because the amount of work and effort and sacrifices that were made seemed like something that should have been taught in school or at least public knowledge, but it isn't!! so many heroic souls forgotten and buried (literally and figuratively) under the secretive government
