definitely not as gripping as some of beth's other books but the hotel setting is very fun and im loving lucas and izzy

I was enjoying this to begin with but at the mid-way point it's giving fanfic. This is unnecessary for Millie's story, it seems to be dismantling all the happiness she and Enzo built for their little family. At first, I was enjoying the drama and now it's just annoying. However, having just reached part three, I was surprised by the twist because I was *sure* it was someone else. I can't wait to see how this ends!

I'm having such a fun time with this! I love Millie and Enzo a lot so getting to see their life in this lovely house with two amazing kids makes me very happy. This book definitely has a completely different tone to the other two, and if you're reading this series just for the thrill, this one might not hit the same, but I'm loving the domesticity of it all and the neighbourhood drama!

Dare I say this is really entertaining!! I really like Millie as the POV character and our other characters, while annoying and frustrating, are really intriguing. I'm loving the slight mystery about Mille's past, Nina's illnesses and now the beginnings of a potential affair with Millie and Andrew (which I was honestly hoping would happen oops) This book, while arguably not the best written, is so hard to put down!

This is definitely getting more interesting but it still isn't hitting the same as Freida's other books. I love that we got another POV and Freida has continued her usual "everything is not what it seems" narrative which I really do enjoy. Hoping there will be some sort of twist to make it a bit more exciting, and I can't wait to see how Tegan escapes!

I'm definitely enjoying this so far! That prologue made everything more intriguing when, so far, Freida hasn't used her usual tactic of evoking mystery and confusion. However, I'm enjoying the story and the main character enough that the lack of mystery isn't too concerning yet! I can't wait to continue and I hope it only gets better from here.

Really enjoying this so far! I love both POV's and all the mystery. I did go into this book already knowing some crucial information but it actually makes it all more confusing so! I'm looking forward to the reveal of everything and I hope these girls get justice for whatever happened to them and why!

While this took a few chapters to get into, I'm definitely having a good time with it. It's so mysterious and creepy. I'm enjoying both of our POV characters and the dual timeline makes it even more fun. I have a few suspicions but with Freida, everything is not what it seems so I'm not too convinced just yet!

Freida is actually a genius because what do you mean everything I thought was true, everything I was made to believe, might not be correct at all. I have a few little theories but my head is a fucked, did not expect this to take a turn like this!! Gonna finish tomorrow and I cannot wait to find out the truth about everything.

Sydney and Tom are officially dating and I cannot wait for everything to tie together. Tom's chapters are getting more and more intriguing and I can't put this down! Really want there to be some justice for these poor girls.

Attempting to break my reading slump with a thriller and this is going very well so far! I love the dual timeline and the fact that one is in the past, too! Tom's POVs are so intriguing and chilling at times. I also love Sydney's POV and everything happening with her friends at the moment. Cannot wait to continue and get into the thick of the plot.

Things are getting real and raw, and I love every second. Arche and Lenora have a way of communicating that is so pure and loving, so utterly healthy and pure. You can truly tell the emotions they hold for one another and their whole relationship is incredibly believable. It's definitely my favourite of Aimee's. And the smut!! It was hot while also being beautiful and sensual. These two hold a warm place in my heart!

The way I'm already loving this! The world is so immersive with such an interesting plot seeing our two mcs expand into the outer world. Aimee always writes such brilliant characters and dynamics but these characters are on another level. I love both of our main girls, with a soft spot for Lenora, and their dynamic is something special. Already, the tension has me kicking my legs and I can't wait to continue!

And so the third act begins! I will admit, the angst between Lou and Reid is getting a little tedious, but with a whole book still to go I understand the reasoning. Their relationship is rocky at best, and while their love is clear, their other issues are so much stronger than that. They need some serious communication before things get better, and change on both ends is definitely needed. Excited for what's to come!

Officially halfway! This book has been so easy to read and I'm having the best time with it. The world and the characters are so fun, and the plot is just as entertaining!

So glad to be back reading this book! It's so easy to read, even as the stakes up and things get serious, there's still a comforting side to the characters that bring you in. I can't wait till Lou and Reid reunite, and I have a feeling Reid is gonna be in a completely different mindset after being with the other witches. His feelings toward magic are a little annoying but I sense change coming. Very sad about Gaby :(

Can't believe it literally took me 4 years to pick this up! Even with just a recap, I feel so immersed in this world and the characters. I love them just as much as I did when I read S&D. I will admit, this book reads very easily and definitely has that fanfiction feel but that by no means is a bad thing. I can't wait for the stakes to get higher now the group has split up, gonna miss my LouReid content though!

Officially about halfway through and I must admit, this is intriguing me!! It took a while to get into because of the extensive world-building and getting used to the magic system. I also think the main plot is quite slow because there are so many side plots as well as the occasional flashback, but now things are juicy and I struggled to put this down earlier! Especially after a particular reveal!

This is such cosy, sexy, relatable goodness. I love Harper and Fraser so much already, along with this adorable Scottish small town and the side characters. Bonnie has a way of writing romance that is so utterly realistic, I feel the emotions and the connection between the characters so effortlessly, as well as their own inner dilemmas. This book is definitely going to be one to read with autumn coming!

This book is so different to Casey's others that it doesn't even feel like their's!! The characters are so entertaining and I love the mystery of it all. I will admit it doesn't come close to their other works but it's so effortlessly easy to read. I also love the multi media aspects after every chapter. I can't wait to delve deeper into this mystery and find out the truth about Shara!

Books like this and The Midnight Library make me want to live my life to the fullest. I love both of these boys and wish them nothing but the best, hearing their stories with their families makes me so sad but I'm so glad they found each other. They're such different people but they click so well because of that, it's so interesting to see their bond grow so naturally and believably within a short amount of time!

The mystery and thrill is intensifying. As much as I love doing up the bookshop and enjoying the cosy vibes, I do love the mystery of everything going on atm! I'm also loving the romance between Maylee and Viv, the sapphic goodness that has me kicking my feet. It does make me sad knowing this is a prequel and that Viv doesn't stay here because the friendships she's made are so strong and special. Travis has a talent!

Who knew all I needed to get out of my slump was a cosy fantasy, set in a bookshop, featuring baked goods and an utterly lovable orc? Having read Legends & Lattes already, I couldn't wait to pick this up and it is not disappointing! It's such a fun, quick read and I can't put it down. Seeing Viv's love for reading has been so fun, alongside the intrigue of the world and the characters who are always so entertaining!

The tension between me and getting closer to finding out what happened in Croatia!!! I'll be finishing this tomorrow so I can't wait to see both what happened and Alex and Poppy get their happily ever after together. This new trip is giving us so much goodness and angst at the same time. I love their dynamic so much but it's clear that something is missing after Croatia.

the slow burn excellence, the smooth transition from platonic to crushing, the flashing back and forth between summers, the opposites attract!!!! ms henry did not come to play with this book yall. im already having the best time, these two have such a fun dynamic and it's so utterly believable. i can see how much they mean to one another and i can't wait to find out what happened to ruin it all for two whole years!!

So glad to be back with these three! Lana and Cami are now living in the guest house with Cal and things are only getting better. The dynamic between Cami and Cow-l is adorable. With Lana, it's fiery and flirty and I can't get enough. I'm enjoying the angst and exploration of Cal's addiction and how much it's cost him, especially with Lana, but seeing him want to be better makes me so happy. Can't wait to continue!

This book is already giving angst *and* goodness all at once! Childhood best friends to lovers to strangers, utter heartbreak with flashbacks, then six years apart. Not to forget the addiction rep. Now, we're back at the Lake house where it all began, both their names are on the deed, and our fmc has a daughter who already seems to love our mmc! I truly couldn't ask for more and I can't wait to learn more about Lana!

I'm enjoying this more as I read because this is a lot slower and somewhat of a slow burn too. However, I don't think the reason it's a slow burn is why I'm not loving it. When I read romance, I look forward to swooning, blushing and kicking my feet but there's only been one or two occurrences of that with these two. I like their dynamic a lot and their banter but its nothing compared to the last book unfortunately.

The beginning of this book is a lot slower than the first, and I think where the characters already know each other and their dynamic is strong, it's not as exciting as the typical meet-cute and getting to know one each other we usually see in the beginning. However, I'm still having a good time. I like Iris a lot and I adore her friendship with Cal. Her and Declan are definitely going to be an interesting couple!
