Can't believe it literally took me 4 years to pick this up! Even with just a recap, I feel so immersed in this world and the characters. I love them just as much as I did when I read S&D. I will admit, this book reads very easily and definitely has that fanfiction feel but that by no means is a bad thing. I can't wait for the stakes to get higher now the group has split up, gonna miss my LouReid content though!

And so the third act begins! I will admit, the angst between Lou and Reid is getting a little tedious, but with a whole book still to go I understand the reasoning. Their relationship is rocky at best, and while their love is clear, their other issues are so much stronger than that. They need some serious communication before things get better, and change on both ends is definitely needed. Excited for what's to come!

Officially halfway! This book has been so easy to read and I'm having the best time with it. The world and the characters are so fun, and the plot is just as entertaining!

So glad to be back reading this book! It's so easy to read, even as the stakes up and things get serious, there's still a comforting side to the characters that bring you in. I can't wait till Lou and Reid reunite, and I have a feeling Reid is gonna be in a completely different mindset after being with the other witches. His feelings toward magic are a little annoying but I sense change coming. Very sad about Gaby :(
