I’m 3 chapters in and the protagonist has mentioned how ugly she is on every page. This is going to be a long book.

I never say this but this would have made a better movie than a book.

My thoughts so far are that this would make a much better movie.

The multiple character POV in each chapter are giving me whiplash.

I didn’t realize that this was a Children’s book. Whoops. I might continue as the premise sounds interesting.

This is either going to be the obvious “plot twist” OR something so remarkable is going to happen that no one could have seen it coming

Not loving this one as much as the other two so far.

Hot take: Miranda is far more likeable than Andrea. Andrea’s kind of a dick tbh. Also what is Andrea’s obsession with all the immigrant’s “lack” of English skills? I’m 3 chapters in and it’s mentioned on about every fifth page.

Can’t say anything without spoiling it. But if you want a quick, easy, entertaining read, try it out.

So far my favourite thing about this book are the reviews where people are complaining about all the characters having the same names....it's history...she didn't make them up just to confuse you. 😂

Slooooowwww. I'm listening to the audio book and it's doing wonders to help me fall asleep which is a shame because I really wanted to like this.

If I need to read one more chapter about horses, I'm going to scream.

I'm not loving this book, I don't care about any of the characters. I'm finding it a little dull and don't know if I'll continue.

Not enjoying it as much as Station Eleven. 50% of the way through and I'm still trying to figure out what the main point of the story is.

This isn't the type of book I normally read but when in Chile beggars can't be choosers when it comes to English language books. I bought it at a used book sale in Santiago.
So far, I'm not hating it.

I see a twist coming... if it comes. It will redeem the book.

the overall story is good but like so many books I feel them just shoehorning a love story in just for the sake of having a love story. Rich girl and poor boy. T❤️4ever until one of them inevitably dies saving the other one. There's already a potential other love interest for "the boy" so I'm guessing "the girl" is going to get it.

This book is like a better and somehow at the same time worse Da Vinci Code.

I truly think that this is one of the most terrifying books every written. Obviously it's not a typical horror story but reading it now in this day and ages it's not really that difficult to see something like this happening in the world, to women.

To be honest, it already has started. Men making decisions over women's bodies, what we can and can't do.

Is it incredibly indulgent to drink champagne...sparkling wine I guess while I read this book?
