I truly think that this is one of the most terrifying books every written. Obviously it's not a typical horror story but reading it now in this day and ages it's not really that difficult to see something like this happening in the world, to women.

To be honest, it already has started. Men making decisions over women's bodies, what we can and can't do.

Is it incredibly indulgent to drink champagne...sparkling wine I guess while I read this book?

I can't believe that I've never read this book before. It's been one of those ones that "I'll get around to reading" and I'm finally getting around to reading it.
I've only just started but so far it's amazing and terrifyingly realistic to what is happening in a lot of the world now.
Gotta go.... back in a few hours when I finish.
