Madison being sharp with her in chapter 48 was so unnecessarily rude imo. You are at your friend’s house to talk to her about her relationship issues, and yes you are close with the person she’s dating, but snapping at her after an honest mistake after they BOTH were stupid to each other was so rude. Try that in my house you won’t come again.

You can use the term “gingerbread jerk” a max of one time before it gets old and childish. It’s not been said about 100 times in 15 chapters, and I am over it.

Liam was not grumpy at all in the first book and now suddenly he is? Inconsistent, but I’ll wait to see how that’s approached, if it is.

Great atmosphere, so cute. Writing is very repetitive though, we don’t need the same details repeated over and over again. Keep the atmosphere and get an editor and we have something great so far.

Immediately I’m going to say I HATE when authors include playlists that date the story. Just awful.
