I have to admit that I’ve been reading all those 1 and 2 star reviews and I agree with a lot of them. Not looking forward to the cringey sex scenes, but I was expecting them even without knowing they’d be written that way. Because quite frankly, this entire book is cringey af.

I swore I’d skip thus the next time I read the series. But since I got this paperback for my birthday, I figured I’d read it again just this once. I really hope I like it more than I did the first time. (Also listening on audiobook from Hoopla hoping it will be over faster.)

It says I’m at 56%, but I’m actually further in the story since that ends at 87%. I hate when authors put a lot of chapters from other books at the end. 🙄 This isn’t as good at the first book. It was good to see Tenley again, but I don’t feel any connection with these two like I did with Tenley and Knox.
