Impressive to write about how Poland has taken in only a few thousand nonwhite immigrants, and haven't had any terror attacks, unlike the rest of Europe, and then be appalled by the fact that the Polish people see a connection between these two facts.

The shitbag sniper who shot Vicki Weaver claimed it wasn't his job to question the morality of the rules of engagement. These are the enforcers of ZOG, grunts who just want to shoot people without caring too much about who they shoot.

Walter seems to justify the persecution and the fact that an FBI agent, on the word of a disgruntled neighbor, had a file on Randy Weaver, a man who had committed no crime. I really wish this wasn't the best researched book on Ruby Ridge that I've found.

This introduction worries me. Walter says that the Weavers "were seduced by conspiracy, ..., by beliefs steeped in racism and fear of government oppression, beliefs that helped bring about the very thing they feared."

That feels like a way to demonize the Weavers, as if the statement itself doesn't simply prove their point of view. Why should purported racism and fear of oppression bring about oppression?

In chapter 3 he attacks the movie "All Quiet on the Western Front" as showing soldiers as basically cowards, and says that he never saw anything of that, and he has no reason to assume that the Germans were any different. It's an interesting commentary, since a lot of these WW1 books were published at around the same time in different languages, you rarely get to see the authors comment on each other's perspectives.

Mearsheimer, himself being Jewish, is very bad at identifying the "pro-Israel Americans" as the Jews that they are, instead choosing to describe them just so. The only times you realize that they're not just regular, objective Americans are when he also mentions that their members of explicitly Jewish organizations, or if you already know who they are.

Alinsky says the quiet part out loud, and in the chapter "Of Means and Ends" argues that democracy isn't an end, it's just a means to the end that is "freedom, equality, justice, peace" (interracial crime, pride parades, Ruby Ridge, ZOG). If we democratically vote for segregation, we turn "democracy into a prostitute".

Ellul's analysis of the difference between communism and nazism fails in the claim that nazi Germany fell because they didn't at least in propaganda maintain the idea of freedom and liberation. This was of course definitely indecisive in the fall of Hitler, since he wasn't dethroned by a popular uprising, but rather by foreign states, which of course don't buy into the propaganda of other countries anyways.
