Okay, I can already tell something funny is going on and I'm only a few pages in. Really hard to put this book down for a little hangout

It's so hard to put this book down right now. I am very worried about this "night bird watcher" as well. Can't wait till I'm off work so I can get more reading done

I think the museum's caretaker is a sweet amusing character, I do think he may know more than he lets on. Especially after the bird visited. Can't wait to sit down and read more.

Okay, was it just me being silly or did anyone else originally picture Yacob as a girl. Till they finally said "he" in a letter and my mind was blown. Great read so far though and the pictures? More books would have this beautiful mix

I really don't want to put this down but I'm falling asleep. I love the way Hades is described and Hecate.

So far, I'm loving the mix of Gods and mortals. I hate to put it down but I have to go to work. Definitely reading more tonight

It's a cute little book to just escape the world with. I really want to know what will happen to the aunt and it's an easy read.

I really should have picked this book up sooner.

I'm glad I pushed passed the less interesting parts of the story and now I'm finally hearing what exactly happened to Gwyneth.

It's a slow read for me since they describe so much detail. ( like naming soda brands) but a great story

Since I had put down reading ( and honestly stopped caring for myself) I decided it would be better to give this book a go from the start again. I'm enjoying it more as well

I hate this part, I know it's coming but here I am, crying.

I had a feeling Franz and Josef would show up in the grandmother's story but now I'm just sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see how this will also take a bad turn.

I knew about the Holocaust before reading this book and I have even read a few books in high school but still, reading of Sage's grandmother and family living like this is making me sob. Still a great read though. Really want to see where it's headed next.

I'm glad to be reading from Sage's point of of view again. Hearing Josef talk about killing people like he was just talking about a story he heard in the news was hard but it's written so bueautifully that i do not want to put it down. I'm also a huge fan of the grandma's story.
