The Taylor swift idolatry is a bit much, especially in a book that seems to take itself very seriously (much like she does lol). The first “Taylor Swift is the Sylvia Plath of our generation” could’ve read as satirical. The second (to my horror) confirmed it was, in fact, genuine. Surely people can’t actually think this, right ? Right ???

Genuinely - how did this make it through editing? The writing and the grammar are horrendous; I am having to re-read paragraphs to make heads or tails of what I just read. I am not the grammar police, but this is a NOVEL ffs.
