Good pace of events - the little asides at the end of every chapter are helpful to keep me engaged as I’m trying to understand how they relate to the overall mystery.

First impressions - love the quick chapters, always makes it easier for me to read “one more chapter” which equates to a fast read. Good setup with fun characters that are easily envisioned - like the dose of mystery and love story. Excited to read this one!

Initial impressions after first two chapters - writing is a little too on the nose. The way in which the challenge was introduced to the protagonist was literally like a video game storytelling set up. An all knowing ominous person comes out of the wood work to tell a cryptic tale setting the protagonist off on her problem solving journey. It’s an interesting plot so we’ll see what awaits!
