Pretty good read so far....
It is refreshing to read a book with a decent vocabulary.

This is, by far, one of the best daily devotionals that I've come across. I'm in the Book of Daniel this week, and although I am very familiar with the stories of Daniel and Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego I am amazed at what I've learned so far this week and how it applies to my everyday situations.

This is one of the best devotionals I've come across. I'm just in the book of 1 Samuel and I am amazed at how much I didn't know.

Carmen is on page 51 of 738 of A Time to Kill (Jake Brigance, #1)
This book was written when I'd barely entered elementary school, but it still seems relevant to 2015. These first fifty-one pages have been heart wrenching.

I just started Chapter 10, and this book has my undivided attention. Janine's character irritates me to the core, and my heart breaks each time more of Vera's life is revealed.

So far, this is proving to be a good read. Jacqueline seems like she needs to be medicated and Randall puts the "T" in trifling.

The book seems to finally be picking up, and I have a feel for all the characters. I am impressed with the author's style of writing and that it isn't written on an elementary school level.

Adrian has the be the dumbest woman on the planet. Mariah must live under a rock, and Curtis irritates every nerve that I have.

This book seems to be centered around the "light skinned vs. dark skinned" dilemma. Farah, also known as Redbone, is the only light skinned person in her immediate family. Her mother's resentment of her lighter skin has turned her into a monster. The entire family needs to be medicated.

At this point this book is giving me a headache. Bree really irks my nerves because she is really simple and trifling. Dre is a typical dog. Neecy shoild be glad to send him packing.

I honestly don't know what to say about "Bishop Kevin." The sad thing is that there are a lot of so called preachers like him out there.

The book has a good storyline, but at times, it is difficult to read. I cannot stand the way Emily behaves and treats Zeke!
