I'm trying again. But I've shown that firat sentence to so many people now. Two hyphens on the firat two lines don't help it. Random house: just turn that off. Hyphens to break lines went out with lead type. The computer will fix the spacing for you.
Three chapters in and the only likeable person is the husband. No idea why he is with the main character. Sad to find out she wasn't the murder victim.
