Last book in the series. My kids loved it like all the others. Prepare to cry a lot throughout the book as it deals with childhood cancer.

It does end happily for the Vanderbeekers for those that need to know before reading.

Lots to chew on. I don’t think I agree with all of his points but well written and thought provoking.

I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. I didn’t realize that it was a collection of short stories rather than one long story line. His (father brown) dry humor did make me laugh at times though.

Not my favorite book of the year but real and raw. Would recommend for high school students and adults only.
