In my vampire phase again. 10/10 cozy gothic beginning.

These chapters are LONG. I hate having to put a book down mid chapter but I dot have extended reading times available. Ugh

I can not put this down.

Bought this because I needed more vampire yearning after watching Dracula a Love Tale. This is pure smut, but I was waiting for that in the movie so it’s perfect.

Rough start but once we got past Danikas murder the story is enjoyable. A bit too juvenile to me…. But we will see where this goes!

Is this book extra smutty? Like… don’t get me wrong it’s fun but is it necessary? Can we just get to the story line?

This book has been so hard to read. Especially now that ICE is kidnapping people and robbing them of due process. Feeling the fear and the horrors migrants face to get to the states…. They deserve to be here. They deserve to be helped.

So good!

I thought I would fly through this book, but I’m pleased to linger. I’m rereading each line just to bask in the beauty of his words.
