Don't smoke the devil's lettuce while reading this. You'll miss something and then its all over. What is going on with this doppelganger shit and who is Newton? The writing style is solid.

I just finished the first story. I loved it. BUT it leaves you with this feeling of needing to wash your hands and receive a hug. Yikes.

Where did these witchy tricks come from? Washing the house down with rosemary and lavender? I like it.

Stacy ( cr33pycrawlspace ) is reading The Total Money Makeover: A Proven Plan for Financial Fitness
I would never pick up a book like this. My fiscally responsible and successful brother gifted it to me and I must say it has way exceeded my expectations so far. It's not even boring.

Stacy ( cr33pycrawlspace ) is reading The Nix
I am adoring this. There was even a subtle Sea Shepherd reference.
These characters are so real and it's the perfect mix of humor and sadness.

You should never make your dog live outside because if the devil comes to your home they always go after pets first.

Stacy ( cr33pycrawlspace ) is reading A Little Life
I really admire and enjoy when an author can write a scene from different perspectives without being redundant and dull; even giving the reader tiny little pieces of a bigger story that can only be found in that particular point of view. It adds to the realism because obviously everyone sees things differently. Hanya Yanagihara does this with particular grace.

Suffer through Lotto's story because the book finally gets good when Mathilde's story begins. She is the interesting one.

I seriously cannot get into this. I had high hopes since it was the 2014 Pulitzer Prize winner but I'm halfway through and I could care less. Amazing ideas. Poor execution. I'm taking a break from this one.

I read about almost 10% of this book. That was enough for me. It's only for people who are interested in religion which I guess isn't me. It was the most dry and boring book I've ever read. I've read math books more interesting than this. I hate math. Moving on.
