I bought an XTEINK4 and this thing is very cool. A wallet:business card holder sized e-ink reader. Feels like a phony and my brain has accepted this as something it will pay attention to.

Excited for this one, I barely remember the overall plot - but I do often think of very specific scenes so vivid in memory.

Already an improvement on wardrobe. The characters actually feel like real people instead of weird… puppets.

Still da king of narnia books

I think one of the funniest things about Tolkien reading the Narnia books was how incensed he got about Lewis just casually throwing in bits of random mythologies and not giving any real reason or backstory.

I love a time skip and hooboy are there a few here. Three Body series has a weird style of writing, translation aside, but I love it.

This book so far is Tolkien telling his publisher “Got sick 3 months ago so my next draft will be 7 months late, alas nothing anyone can do about, just the way she goes. Also LotR is NOT fuckjng allegorical people keep saying that but they are wrong.” 5/5 stars so far.

“Panoramic Moon Roof” is a really cool character, very mysterious. Hoping we get some more background on her.

Don’t suck on the exhaust no matter how sweet the alluring fumes may be. No main characters introduced yet, just a ton of world building so far.

Made the mistake of raising my reading challenge but also starting Wheeler Time books in the same year. These all count as at least 2, we all agree on this.
