I'm already behind on my reading challenge this year.

Lost my hold at the library :(

I am so excited for this - it seems like a classic with a fast pace. I hope it isn't my last book this year but I have a feeling I might slow down with the holiday. This sure is a monster.

Oversimplified in its message. If you’re going to assign yourself an adult base of readers with your vulgarity, at least back it up with adult nuance. It’s a shame- this could’ve had potential to sow seeds of doubt against the prison labor system in young minds; instead it opted to be overtly sexual for the sake of a much more indifferent adult audience.

I think this has some serious potential to be a new favorite non-ficiton.

4 chapters in and I've decided I need to restart this because I am not registering the words the way that I should be right now. I'll come back to this after a bit.

I'm really enjoying this so far but I also could see it letting me down easily.

Back to these behemoth books.

This has been on my list of classics to read for a lonnnnnnggg time.

Already loving this

My first ever re-read of a book!!

Already disappointed by how many tropes this plot and the characters are following. I have a horrible feeling that this is going to be a terrible rating from me.

Oh no... I think that the older I'm getting, the more I am really starting to enjoy non-fiction.

I'm already deeply intrigued by this.

This book has been on my TBR for 2.5 years now. Time to finally check it off of the list.

A few years ago I found myself caught in a sort of Catch-22 and have been curious to read the book since. Very excited for this classic.

So far so good, but it seems like the author is trying to cram as many POVs into a chapter as is physically possible.
