All these people suck SO BAD omg

Very strong start for the first story. I’ve often looked at guys I knew who used to say all the right things and then check back in on them and see they’re incels now and go “how does that even happen?” and here’s the answer. The complete lack of self awareness in the first POV character was crazy. Yet I’ve met so many men like this….

I’ve been waiting this entire book for Hal’s growth and I’m not sure it’s happening 😭 or that it would be the narratively satisfying option here…..
