I read 185 pages in first sit down to read. Craig Hunter is an interesting protagonist. Not as colorful as James' primary Scott Cullen.

A real page Turner ! Finley is a very interesting protagonist to be sure !

Cullen again is investigating a grisly murder and dealing with his two nightmares: Methven & Bain !

Book has 540 pages not 386.......Cotton Malone is up to his neck in danger and intrigue !!!

A young boy killed on the railroad tracks, 2 young sons of a Minister venture into the woods around the tracks. Finding another dead body of a WWII vet.

Book has 477 pages not 387....... Comes flying out of the great like a missile !

Book has 476 pages not 388. Pretty interesting out of the blocks.

Interesting read so far. Edmonton is a different place than what we know of in the States. Strong characters help this story very well.

What a character Willie is !!! Bank robber , thief, escape artist, and a voracious reader ! Written in 1953, its fascinating reading !

Three dead hookers, several filthy rich drug dealing gangsters are going toe to toe with Joe. Joe's family has been threatened. Sheriff Bates is backing off supporting Joe. The governor is now looking for Joe's head on a platter.

A suspect is arrested for Elspeth's murder. The Rabbi still not out of the woods with police or getting his contract renewed. Chief Lanigan may know who real killer is already.

Quinn is in jail trying to get to a hit man from a crime 20 years ago. Nora is running around looking for old gangsters who can help find trigger man.

Quinn has to look into a suicide which actually may be a murder.

Two brothers from Dublin, Ireland come to NYC for different reasons. One more pious than the other.

Kind of strange protagonist not introduced until page 43. ADA Rachel Knight given the rape case of young girl who's father is big wig doctor & donater to DA. One of the ADA's found in cheap motel room dead with 17 year old boy.

The "dream" team is running wild unchecked as Ito loses control of court room. Marcia & Chris battling defense, media, Ito, and a lot of nonsense.

Riveting story. Families of victims really got screwed .

Marcia & prosecutor's office stymied by LAPD & media. OJ got every imaginable break most defendant's would never have gotten. Marcia is a hell of a fighter.

Viktor/ Ghostface is bearing down on Darby ! Poor Hillary !

Viktor wants Darby dead very badly. Harold is going to go on Russian female companion tour ? Det. Pete Sokolov now getting involved.

Riveting start. Looks like from the get go, Marcia has stumbling blocks put in front of her on purpose.

Darby's Tatiana has been murdered. Nastasha's powerful father wants Darby to do a very important favor for him. The favor is something that'll hurt Darby's consulting business.
