So obsessed!

Somehow I’ve never read Ann Leckie before and I’m so glad I dove in!

So far so good!

It definitely feels like an interlude, a calm after the massive events of #17. Has that Ghost Story vibe.
I liked Ghost Story but the execution here isn’t working for me. As always we spend our time in Harry’s head but it doesn’t sound like Harry. It feels like a weird adjacent version of Harry…

Been completely overwhelmed lately… My Aunt unexpectedly passed away and I caught the flu from someone at her funeral 😭😭😭

Really into the beginning but the middles a bit soft. 🤞the end pulls everything back together!

Playing book roulette… Every day I pick up one of 6 books I’m halfway through but that won’t keep me from starting more 😆

Better than the first one but the MFC is not my favorite 😑

Only two chapters in and it’s such a beautiful book already!

So many descriptions of insects wriggling, crawling, or buzzing around 🤮

Having a hard time focusing & finishing. Setting this aside & will finish when I’m in the right mood
