I wasn’t sure I was going to like this story after seeing Lord Aldric in the previous book, but I think this is one of my favorites, at least so far! It’s interesting seeing Aldric now as a man of severe self discipline and how Olivia seems to challenge that in him and push back at him in a way his first wife never seemed to.

I’m very much enjoying the book so far. It’s reminding me of how much I used to love fiction books and fictional worlds, and it’s slowly making me want to tiptoe my way back into that fictional exploration once again.

I started this expecting a fairly light hearted read about the trail with some drama mixed in and got something much more intense and honestly gross than I expected. Not sure I’ll keep reading it, but I’ll try to come back to it just to give the book a solid try.

It’s a memoir, but it reads like a fiction piece. I love his writing style and how he makes these small interactions with clients and animals so interesting and intriguing.

Such a fun mystery! I love all of the character dynamics. It’s such a delightful mix of comedy and murder mystery.

Such a good book with so many wonderful insights on emotions in both a logical and biblical lens.

I’m such a sucker for good pirate stories, and this book definitely does not disappoint! I love the romance in this book, and the fantasy world is stunning. I can’t wait to finish it.

It’s a good read so far! The language is more dense so I can only read a chapter or two at a time, but it’s definitely worth the hype.

Super cute! I love how we have more flashbacks to Emily’s time with Sloane as we go through the book, learning more about their friendship and the true significance of the list she left.

Very cute so far. Giving me all the summer sunshine vibes, which I love.

Not my absolute favorite if her books so far, but Roo and Emma are cute and it’s a nice, light, summery read which I’m always down for.
