Can't stop loving this book. So many good ideas, so many great accounts that turn me on. Yes please to this book.

Had to return to the library. Not my fave style of writing.

I spent 10 minutes reading a few pages and then asked my daughter to take a bath, which is often contentious. And it worked! Whatever I did after reading part of this...I need to keep it in me.

Sabbath! A whole day of rest. No work. The author says one might spend it with family. I don't know about that personally.

By 2040 the average American will be working 3.8 hours a day? Disagree.
Self-binding (putting restrictions on your addictive habits) is an interesting concept. I don't like the terminology, but I do do this. I am fascinated by the cold shower that puts your body into shock but then you get a body high afterwards. Also I appreciate that the author is not a pharmaceutical drug pusher.

I guess partially due to reading this I am on a cannabis reprieve. It is kind of nice. But I am still critical of the book.

Interesting and I like it. But the author's addiction being romance novels seems...much less severe than other addictions. Read with a grain of salt. As always

Some parts are more relevant than others. I like hearing the stories. Fashion though? I don't care to update my look. Lol. But the positive reframing of instead of failure it's a new beginning is nice to read.

Good so far. The legal stuff is not fun to read.

So good. Stick to your NOs so your YESes are really strong and great. Honestly, reading this changed up my date with my current romantic partner. Change is hard but good. I am learning so much and feeling empowered!

I put this away for a while and love reading in bits at a time. I am empowering myself to slowly wean off meds and looking at the whole self. Not just a diagnosis

I like the addiction chapters.
